Injection Packer
The injection packer is a tool for sealing works and are preferably made of different materials such as steel or plastic.
Under pressure sealants (e.g. cement suspensions or resins...) are injected into the damaged building parts and thus the drill holes are tightly fixed.
There are various types of packers, such as drive-in packers or adhesive packers.
Screw packers/drive-in packers are pressed into the borehole and turns on the clamping sleeve. The rotation causes the tightening effect in the borehole.
Adhesive packers are glued or nailed to the injection hole.
The packers are available in different hole diameters, such as ø10, 12, 13 and 18 mms.
The successful use of the injection packer requires the compatibility of material and injection material as well as absolutely reliable fixing in the damaged building part.
