What is OKAY Puncture Repair Kit?

OKAY is a preventive and lasting puncture protection. With OKAY the hole is sealed the very same moment it occurs. That means: filled in advance – no more puncture repair!

How does OKAY work?

OKAY remains elastic (fluid) in the tyre and settles down on the inner surface of the tyre because of the centrifugal force during driving. That means that there is a protective coat of the fluid on the tread of the tyre. If there is a puncture the air pressure makes the liquid move into the hole. The fibres contained in OKAY get stuck in there and therewith seal the hole permanently.

OKAY seals holes the second they occur. Maintains air pressure!

In tyres of slow moving vehicles, e.g. wheelbarrows, handcarts, wheelchairs, OKAY "swims" at the bottom of the tyre, where punctures can occur. OKAY is always in the right position!

Is it also possible to repair an already punctured tyre with OKAY?

Yes! Although OKAY Puncture Stop is designed as a preventive and permanent puncture prevention, it can also seal already existing holes. But you should check that the hole is not larger than:

* 3-5 mm for bicycles, mopeds, scooters, pushchairs
* 5-7 mm for trailers, utility vehicles and the like.

Also valve splits can not be sealed!

For normal damage: pour in OKAY, pump up the tyre until it is firm and move tyre or start driving the vehicle immediately to enable OKAY to move into the holes

What kinds of damage can be fixed with OKAY?

OKAY Puncture Stop seals all holes up to a maximum diameter of 7mm in the tread. OKAY will not seal punctures or splits on the sidewalls of the tyre.

Where should OKAY be used?

OKAY is applicable to all vehicles with pneumatic tyres! For example:

Is OKAY suitable for tubeless tyres?

Yes! OKAY can be used for tyres with inner tubes as well as for tubeless tyres.

Does OKAY also prevent porosity (damage due to vehicle downtime)?

Yes! Flat tyres due to vehicle downtime belong to the past, because OKAY seals even the smallest holes.

Can I also seal holes in my inflatable mattress, rubber dinghy or ball with OKAY?

No! OKAY Puncture Stop is designed for tyres only.

Is OKAY environmentally friendly?

Yes! The substances in OKAY Puncture Stop are biodegradable. OKAY is composed of diverse textile fibres that have been especially developed for our puncture prevention, water, preservatives and antifreeze.

Could OKAY affect the tyre?

No! Unlike common aerosol based repair sealants, OKAY Puncture Stop does not contain any latex. It does not affect the tyres at all.

The tyre with OKAY inside can be cleaned with water in a garage and also vulcanised afterwards.

Is OKAY frost resistant?

Yes! Our standard version of OKAY Puncture Stop is frost resistant to –12°C, which is normally sufficient for bicycles, handcarts, pushchairs and the like. For caravans, trailers, utility vehicles we recommend OKAY frost resistant to –20°C. This would be adequate for our region. However, in Scandinavia we also sell OKAY frost resistant to –40°C.

Important notice: Even if OKAY happens to freeze, it does not become useless after defrosting. The gel can be used as normal!

How long is OKAY''s shelf life?

OKAY Puncture Stop has an unlimited shelf life. It does not dry up or evaporate in the bottle as well as inside the tyre (closed system). It always remains elastic, which is essential for wheel balance!
