Heat Protection Hoses of knitted high bulk glass fiber coated with silicon - Pyrojacket PJ

Available with Inner Diameters of ø 6 - 127mms - for the safety of cables and hose lines

Wall thickness by all executions of hose ca. 3,6mms

    * Standard length 15 meters (optional other lengths)
    * Short lengths ex 1 meter are possible

The ultra-pure silicon-coating is: 

• abrasive-resistant
• resistant against chemicals, oils and greases
• UV - and Infrared resistant
• self-extinguishing

The products are asbestos-free and don´t release poisonous gas and steam.

Pyrojacket PJ is extremely flexible and fits all bending radius of hoses and cables without problems.

The liquid-repellent attitude of the silicon-coating makes the products so ideal for the use with furnaces and casting implements of all kinds within the metallurgic industry.

Having contacts with liquid-metall the spillings roll-off at once and allow only slight heating-transfer onto the hoses and lines which are safed by Pyrojacket PJ.

The silicon-coating has also a very good flame-resistance.

the combination of glass-fibre base and silcon-coating gives excellent isolation datas. Therefore the products are also brilliant dedicated to isolate hot lines for steam and heat transfer oil. This leads to the saving of energy and safes also employees against injuries.

Temperature stability:

Constant: ca. 260° C
Flame impingement: ca. 800° C - 30 Min.
Radiant heat: ca. 1090° C - 15-20 Min.
Contact with liquid metall: ca. 1670° C - 30 Sek.
